News is made up of items of International, Welsh and South Wales regional news likely to be of interest and importance to Nation Radio’s target listeners.
Recent examples of news on air includes job losses and downscaling at some of South Wales’ biggest employers such as Corus and coverage of Wales’ autumn rugby international series.

Nation Radio has broadcast “track by track” album playbacks, featuring artists such as Manic Street Preachers and Stereophonics talking listeners through their new material.
Nation Radio’s “Next Big Thing” saw listeners select a new South Wales band to play live at a major music event in the area.
Nation Radio presenters have compeered at charity gigs or judged at local battle of the bands competitions in our area.
